About Me

Pete Jaskulski has 33 years of experience in the fields of law enforcement and firefighting/EMS. He retired after 24 years of service with the Milwaukee County Sheriff’s Office (MCSO) in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and continues to serve as the assistant Fire Chief for the Village of Hales Corners, Wisconsin. Pete is an enthusiastic, skilled and dedicated trainer having spent the majority of his career as a training instructor and Director of the MCSO’s Training Division.

Pete now focuses on Verbal Defense and Influence training and its application to Law Enforcement, Firefighting, Emergency Medical Services and  other contact professional,  service oriented professions. He has spent 31 years as a high school baseball umpire, providing Verbal Defense and Influence training to umpires with the goal of improving their game management skills.
Pete’s other areas of experience include:

  • Operations Captain of the Milwaukee County Correctional Facility Central
  • MCSO SWAT Technician
  • Defensive and Arrest Tactics and Principles of Subject Control Master Instructor

  • Member of the Wisconsin Department of Justice Jailer Training Advisory Committee
  • Licensed Emergency Medical Technician-IV Technician
